Reddick Man gets prison time after arrest for defrauding drug screening test

A Kankakee County man was sentenced to four years in prison for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a meth.

39-yr-old Chance Templet of Reddick violated a Grundy County Alternative Court Program.

Templet was placed into the Alternative Court Program on the two charges and required to take random drug screens.
On November 6, of 2017, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department arrested Templet for unlawfully defrauding a drug screening test.

Sheriff Kevin Callahan said Templet defrauded the test by using synthetic urine instead of his own urine.

Templet was arrested on a warrant during the drug court program on November 7th.
