Grundy County Sheriff’s Policed report the arrest of a Reddick woman for DUI while three children were in the vehicle with her. Sheriff Kevin Callahan reported deputies conducted a traffic stop (last Saturday) near Route 47.
The deputy noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. 31-year-old Jennifer Bossen admitted she had smoked marijuana approximately 20 minutes prior to the traffic stop. A search of the vehicle revealed prescription drugs not prescribed for Bossen. Bossen failed several field sobriety tests.
Deputies also discovered Bossen had her three children, aged 4-7, inside the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop.
Bossen has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, DUI of drugs, and three counts of endangering the life or health of a child
