The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Iroquois County invites team captains to the April team captain meeting on Tuesday, April 25th, at 7:00 pm at Watseka High School, 138 S Belmont Ave Watseka. Please note this is a change from our usual Monday night meeting. We are meeting on Tuesday in April. This is only for the month of April.
The monthly meeting is a wonderful opportunity to receive event updates and it also allows team captains to interact with the event leadership team. This is also a great opportunity to share their fundraising events you have coming up, share your fundraising progress and successes. This is also an opportunity for anyone who may not be familiar with Relay For Life to ask questions, learn how the community benefits from funds raised, and learn how cancer survivors and caregivers will be honored.
The Relay For Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. Relay For Life events are community events where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Teams participant in fundraising in the months leading up to the event.
