Rensselaer Central High School took necessary precautions last week after a rumored threat. It’s believed to have a social media threat that started from a conversation between students over lunch.
However, the school's superintendent said they have zero proof and believe there's no credibility behind the threat.
But because of the horrific Florida shooting that happened last Wednesday both the school and police didn't want to take any risks.
The Rensselaer Police Department have investigated and they found no proof of a threat.
The superintendent said he never felt the students were in danger. The school never went on a lock down.
