Illinois Republican House Leader Tony McCombie has announced that area legislators, Jackie Haas and Mike Marron, will serve on her GOP Leadership Team.  Haas and Marron were recently appointed Assistant Republican Leaders. Jackie Haas served the 79th District in Kankakee while Marron is the voice for the 104th District for Champaign and Vermilion Counties.

McCombie was elected the first female Republican Leader following the resignation of Jim Durkin.  The 103rd General Assembly is back in session January 31.
