Authorities are increasing their reward for the capture of a man who escaped from the Kankakee County jail. The reward for Kamron T. Taylor is now at 75-hundred-dollars, up from five-thousand Thursday.
Kankakee County Sheriff Tim Bukowski says he believes Taylor is getting help from someone and that he is armed and dangerous. Taylor, who is awaiting sentencing for the June 2013 murder of a man during a botched armed robbery, escaped Wednesday from his two-person cell at the Jerome Combs Detention Center after the last security check.
Bukowski warns people not to approach or engage in any way with Taylor, if you come across him. Instead, call 9-1-1.
