River Valley Metro joins other systems nationally in offering free rides on Election Day.

Voters can ride River Valley Metro Fixed Routes and Metro Plus services for free on Election Day, November 6th.

Commuter services will not be eligible for free rides.
“Were proud to offer this service” Said Metro Chairman Mark Argyelan. “I’m in favor of anything we can do to help people have the opportunity to vote."

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Metro Plus Customers are encouraged to plan their trip before Election Day. To do that, call Customer Care at (815) 937-4BUS (4287). Customers should have their starting address and the address of the polling place ready to schedule their trip.
