Boil orders in Roberts just won't go away. The small Ford County community is battling water line breaks and the cold weather has offered no relief.
Only a few days after a boil order was lifted in town, residents are again being asked to boil their drinking water until further notice.
The second boil order in a one-week span is in effect, and it likely will remain so until Wednesday or Thursday, according to Village Board President Rick Flessner.
The boil order was prompted by a broken water main discovered shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday. One water main was fixed then another popped. Flessner said workers are diligently trying to solve the problems and he's asking for residents to be paitient.
