Support for America's Armed Forces was being shown in Danville this weekend. Business citizens are displaying the message 'We Proudly Support Rotary Memorial Way' on their marquees.

On Friday nearly 2,000 small American Flags were placed along both sides of North Vermilion Street by Danville Rotary Club members and volunteers. The flags-display will cover four miles and be on display over the Memorial Day weekend.

Rotary Memorial Way has been a labor of love for the Danville Rotary Club for the past 14 years. Funds generated from the flag sponsorships help support the Vermilion County War Museum.

This year members of the Danville High School Jr. ROTC Program will be assisting in placing the flags along the route.
