Holiday Christmas Parades this weekend welcome Santa Claus.

The Watseka Parade Friday evening welcomes Santa. The Christmas Tree, next to the Post Office, is lit up at 6:30.

Milford’s 3rd annual Christmas Parade is Sunday at 5:30 pm. Entries are accepted up ‘til 5:15. Nearly 40 entries have registered. Visitors are asked to bring food items to help the local Food Pantry.

Pride in Paxton’s Christmas Parade is today (Sat) at1:30 pm.

Black Friday Book Sale at Hoopeston Public Library – Friday & Saturday (110 N. Fourth St, Hoopeston) A fresh assortment of adult & children’s fiction & non-fiction books at $2 a bag or 3 bags for $ 5. Bags will be provided or bring your own. Friday hours 9:30AM-6:00PM; Saturday hours 9:30AM-3:00PM.

Visit with Santa at the Village Mall in Danville ---- Saturday 11AM-7PM, & Sunday 11AM-5PM
