A Vintage Christmas was the theme for the 2015 Christmas Parade in Watseka Friday evening.  Despite the rainy weather, the annual Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce-sponsored parade attracted a friendly crowd along the route.  

The parade entry winners:

Best Walking Unit = Diamond in the Rough

Best Use of Theme/Float

Best Use of Lights = Slow Boys Tractor Club

Best Decorated Emergency Vehicle =  Watseka Fire Dept.

Miss Snowflake winner, Mylee Valentine and Mister Snowflake, Landon Shaw, welcomed Santa Claus during the parade route.  Mylee is the 6-year-old daughter of Mike & Marcy Valentine. Landon is the 7-year-old son of Cora Senesac.
