The annual Canadian National - Illinois Central Railroad Santa Train makes its run through area communities this weekend.

The train makes stops in Ford, Iroquois and Kankakee counties Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Santa Claus will be onboard to visit with area children along the route.
The train is scheduled to be in Gilman Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Saturday’s schedule will include Gibson City 8 to 10:30 am. The Melvin stop is from 12 noon to 1:15 pm. Roberts is from 1:45 to 3 pm, Thawville from 3:30 to 5 pm, and then Onarga 6 to 8 pm.

The Sunday schedule includes Danforth 10:30 am. To 12 noon, Ashkum’s stop is from 1 to 2:30 pm. The Santa Train is in Clifton from 3:30 to 5:30 pm..

Please note all times are target times. While the Santa Train strives to maintain a tight schedule, the railroad's operations prevail, which might cause delays at any or all stations.
