SBA offers economic help for small businesses

The economic woes of small Illinois businesses have mounted with COVID-19.  And area Chamber of Commerce offices have links on their websites to help.  The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) offers several programs to help struggling businesses cover payroll, debt relief, and counseling services. The state of Illinois also makes it known grants and low-interest loans available.

Congressman Adam Kinzinger also refers constituents to the Federal Care Act for help.

The Watseka Area and Kankakee County Area Chamber of Commerce websites have links posted to help navigate the programs available.
