Schererville man found guilty for Monticello murder

A White County, Indiana jury has found a Schererville (IN) man guilty for his role in a Monticello murder.

Ray Chamorro was convicted for the murder of 29-year-old Tye Rentfrow.

Ther verdict was returned Thursday night after about five-hours of deliberation.

Rentfrow was shot and killed at a home last October.

A sentencing date is set for August 22nd.

Meanwhile, authorities have reported two more people are under arrest in relation to Tye Rentfrow's murder.

19-year-0ld Lashea Ramsey and 30-year-old David Jones are jailed on $50,000 bonds each.

White County Prosecutor Bob Guy said both suspects face a felony charge of assisting a criminal in a murder. Jones was reported to be with Chamorro at Rentfrow's home when the murder was committed.

Ramsay is Chamorro's girlfriend.
