Voters in Iroquois County (Tuesday) will decide who will serve on city councils or village boards and represent school boards. The same voters will spin direction on how school boundaries will be decided. Local voters will also say who will govern library and fire districts.
The hot-button issues will most likely attract more voters than in less-contested matters.
Watseka and Crescent-Iroquois school district voters not only choose their local school board voices, but also select new board members --- should the referenda to consolidate pass.
In Unit District 10, Iroquois West voters are selecting school board members to direct the future. And that will be dealing with the aging buildings OR moving forward with a successful $25-million dollar bond issue to build a new school.
Polls are open Tuesday, April 2, from 6 am 'til 7 pm.
