Kankakee County Sheriff's Police report the arrest of 21-year-old Cortez Baines of Kankakee (Tuesday).  He's a second suspect allegedly involved in the January 27 shooting of a 19-year-old man in Limestone.  County investigators arrested Baines during a traffic stop in Kankakee.  He's now charged with attempted muurder, home invasion with a firarm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.  The investigation continues.

Police arrested 24-year-oldGregory Tuggle of Manteno earlier this month in Iowa.  He was indicted by a grand jury for attempeted 1st-degree murder, home invasion, and aggravated battery with a firearm.  The shooting victim continues his recovery.
