Balkema says more needs to done. Under current law seniors can apply for their assessed value to be frozen, but the income parameters are “low,”...
"This picks at parts of the population that is most vulnerable," he says, and "that's not fair either. We have to fix the problem."
The Revenue committee has to address the bill by April 11.
