Senator Coats to address Newton County Republicans

The Newton County Republican Central Committee is pleased to announce that United States Senator, Dan Coats, will give the keynote address at the 2014 annual Lincoln Day Dinner to be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Beaver Township Community Center in Morocco. The dinner will begin at 6:00pm CST.

Dan Coats began his service to our nation in the U.S. Army before attending Indiana University School of Law. After working for a Fort Wayne life insurance company, he joined the office of then Congressman Dan Quayle as a district representative. Coats has served in both the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

Honoring a term limits pledge, Coats stepped down from his senate seat in 1999. In 2001, he was named Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Coats returned to the U.S. Senate in 2011 to help restore fiscal responsibility and ensure that future generations inherit a safe and prosperous America.

In the 113th Congress, Coats serves on four Senate committees; Appropriations, Select Intelligence, Commerce, and the Joint Economic Committee.

Tickets for this event are $25 per person and can be obtained by contacting any Republican elected official or precinct committeemen.
