The summer-like weather is here for another day or two, but after October arrives, temperatures will feel much more like fall.

Sunshine and a high of 84 today, and the final day of September will bring sunshine and a high near 74 degrees. The National Weather Service reports the first day of October will be warm, with sunshine and a high of 79 degrees, but showers and cooler temperatures will arrive Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Rain will continue through much of the day Thursday, with a high near 75 degrees.

Friday will be much cooler with a high of only 66 degrees with sunny skies. Saturday will be 61 degrees and Sunday's high will only be around 67 degrees.
