A visitation has been planned for Thompsen for Saturday from 1-5 p.m. at St. Joseph-Ogden High School. A first responder walkthrough will take place at 5 p.m. Thompsen’s funeral will be the following day at 1 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 1719 South Prospect Avenue in Champaign, with the burial in St. Joseph’s Patterson Cemetery.
