Sheldon, Paxton men arrested for theft

Two separate cases finds a Sheldon man and a Paxton resident in trouble facing theft charges.

18-year-old Drey Watkins is jailed in Watseka. He's charged with Residential Burglary and Theft. Iroquois County Sheriff's Police arrested the Sheldon man on a warrant Wednesday.

Paxton Police reported the arrest of 29-year-old Joshua Wright. He's facing a felony Theft charge after allegedly pawning several electronic items left at his home by a friend. The police complaint stated Wright agreed to hold the items for a friend who was working out of town. Wright was accused of selling off the items at an Urbana pawn shop.

Wright is jailed in Ford County.
