A traffic stop near Morocco, Indiana turned into a foot chase for sheriff's polcie in Newton County Sunday. 

44-year-old Dennis Walker of Chicago ran from police while he was being questioned for an odor of marijuana coming from his SUV.  While running from the officer, Walker allegedly was throwning items from his pant pockets.  He was eventually chased down and taken into custody.  Police recovered several packets of suspected Ecstasy. Walker was jailed on charges of dealing and possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of justice and resisting law enforcement.
