Six women face mob action charges in Kankakee

Circuit Judge Kathy Bradshaw-Elliott set bond at $100,000 for 38-year-old Shannon Green of Kankakee.  She was arrested and faces felony charges for aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm and reckless discharge of a weapon.  Kankakee Police made the arrest after a series of altercations last weekend. Green allegedly fired a shot into the air at a business parking lot on E. Court Street Saturday morning.  The Daily-Journal reports it was the last of a series of incidents that started Friday at the Bradley Wal-Mart. 

A fight in a check-out lane started the trouble, according to the Journal report. There was second incident later that morning on E. Locust Avenue, where polcie said a shot was fired into the air.No one was injured.  Police also answered a call to a figtht between the group of women at a Kankakee intersection.  Green's arrest came on E. Court, where she admitted firing the weapon into the air. Five other women face mob action charges.
