The National Weather Service reports indicate a developing strong storm system is expected to move into central Illinois and Indiana late today (Friday) and Saturday. It will bring accumulating snow which is expected to cause snow covered roads and possible difficult driving conditions.

Up to 3-5 inches locally and 7-9 inches further south are possible by Saturday night.

This is still a developing model and forecasters say snow amounts may change.
