Snowfall messes up Kankakee County roads, Iroquois escapes with just rain

Northwest Indiana also some accumulation. 2.5 to near four inches. The mix of rain led to slushy roads and caused drivers to lose control. Visibility was hampered.

The NWS expected more rain and snow today. Most area roads were in OK shape, although law enforcement was advising drivers to slow it down and be aware of changes. Main roads were clear with scattered slick spots. Secondary routes were slush-covered.
