Motorists were advised to slow it down and use extra caution today when overnight snowfall covered area roadways.  Snow plows were out and about clearing routes for the commute to-and-from work and school.  Further north, 4-8 inches of wet, heavier snow made for problems on the Cook and DuPage County areas.  A Winter storm warning was in place until noon.
