Stephanie Berenda, a graduating senrior at South Newton High School in Kentland, IN is one of 625 semi-finalists in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.  Mis Berenda was selected from over 6,000 candidates expected to graduate this school year. The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating seniors.

The scholars are selected on the bais of their accomplishments in several areas --- academic success, accomplishments in career and technical fields, leadership, strong character and involvement in school and the community.

The Presidential Scholars Class of 2024 will be recognized in June with an online National Recognition Program.
