Cissna Park's Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its annual Chicken Fry Sunday. And reflections of the community's 1984 water tower will be featured.
The annual chicken fry includes a raffle and auction. A clock, made from the 1894 water tower, will be included in the raffle. Tickets are available from members of the fire department and at the chicken dinner.
A special fundraiser this year includes a large clock made from the wood of the 1894 water tower. It'll go to the high-bidder in a silent auction. E-mail bids are accepted until !2 Noon today (Sat). By the way....the Chicken Fry is Sunday at the Cissna Park Fire Station.serving from 11 am until 5 pm. The raffle follows the dinner.
