...Light Snow Continues Into This Evening... Light snow has spread across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana this afternoon, and will last a few hours, gradually ending from northwest to southeast during the evening.

While the snow will be light with accumulations of an inch or less in many places, the cold temperatures will allow the snow to stick and this will make for slick travel on area roads through the afternoon commute. Allow extra travel late this afternoon and early this evening.
