Kankakee County Sheriff's police report an 18-year-old St. Anne High School student was arrested Monday after showing a teacher a gun and saying he planned to kill the dean of students.

Elijah Robinson will face charges of unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct.

The Daily-Journal reported the Pembroke Township boy broke down in tears before taking the gun out of his vest. Robinson then left school and turned himself in to authorities with his mother present.

Sheriff's police said Robinson was serving a one-week suspension when he returned to school armed with the handgun. The school website no one else was involved and no one was injured.
