Letter Carriers Food Drive

Letter carriers will be helping stock local food pantries Saturday. Your mailman/woman invites you to participate in the 24th National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive.

The Stamp Out Hunger campaign invites residents to leave non-perishable food items by their mail box Saturday. Your letter carrier will pick up your donation while they make their regular rounds.''

Non-perishable food items, such as canned soup, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, tuna, macaroni or cereal can be placed in shopping bag out by your mailbox early Saturday.

Other smaller post offices will collect the food items at their office-counters.

If you have a large donation you can take it directly to your local post office.

Letter carriers across the country appreciate the cooperation.
