The Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce is growing. And newly-appointed executive director Emily Poff wants to keep that momentum moving forward.
Poff tells WGFA News she’s excited about the new job she’s settling into for that last five months or so, AND members and guests can learn more at this Wednesday morning’s State of Kankakee County Breakfast

The public is welcome at the breakfast, but tickets must be purchased. Contact the chamber office. The breakfast is at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Several county officials will address the audience, including County Board Chairman Andy Wheeler, Economic Alliance Director Tim Nugent, Staci Wilken of the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Workforce Development spokesman Ladonna Russell and also Farm Bureau Manager Chad Miller. Also State’s Attorney Jim Rowe.
