Iroquois County sheriff's police continue a search for a get-away suspect who led authorities on a chase Saturday night. The unidentified driver led police into four counties, reaching speed at over 90 mph.
An attempted to stop of a pickup just after 10:30 pm on traffic violations west of Gilman on U.S. Route 24 started the chase. The driver fled and entered parts of Ford, Kankakee and Livingston counties.
Police pursued the vehicle but then lost sight of it near Cullom in northern Ford County. The vehicle was found about 4:45 am Sunday at a residence in Onarga. The truck wasn''t reported stolen. The owner dropped it off at a private residence for repairs before the pursuit.
Charges will include aggravated fleeing and eluding.
