A Saturday night thunderstorm left the east side of Watseka in the dark. Power was eliminated, tree damage in several parts of the city and power lines came down -- a lightning and T-storm show moved across Iroquois County.

Two plus inches of rain was reported in area towns, including Milford where the Route 1 viaduct was flooded. Downed trees and power lines were reported in several communities. The National Weather Service was tracking threatening weather much of the evening. Reports of flash flooding and fire calls had emergency crews responding in several southwest suburbs too.

Utility crews were busy Saturday night into Sunday restoring power.
