The Illinois Department of Public Health is working with local health departments throughout the state to fight a possible hepatitis A outbreak. While there’s no reported outbreaks in Illinois, IDPH says some bordering states have reported outbreaks. Vaccines are being delivered to departments at free or reduced cost for people at the greatest risk of infection.
