Think about your Library: Storywalk in Watseka

It’s popular in so many communities. And now, The Watseka Public Library is bringing A StoryWalk to town. The concept is to get people to Think About Their Library.
If you haven’t visited your library of late, you’re missing out. There’s so much to be a part of, so much to learn. And a StoryWalk tells the story.

The Watseka Public Library is setting up shop at Lakeview Park. Your exercise walk at the park opens the door to reading the StoryWalk displays.

Library Director Darcy Wallace extends an invite to mall – to visit the library and step it off at the StoryWalk at the park.

A Storywalk ribbon-cutting is today (Thursday). A grand opening celebration is August 12.

Twenty stations are set up at Lakeview Park… a walk provides a story at each station. It’s engaging and hopefully, opens the door again so we all can learn what the library is all about – so much to learn !
