Inestigators are still trying to determine the cause of what's believed to have been a 2-vehicle head-on crash near Ludlow that left three people dead. Champaign County Sheriff's Police investigated at County Road 3500 N in Ludlow Township.  Deputies discovered a pickup truck and a car collided around 4:45 pm Tuesday.  The drivers of both vehicles were dead at the scene.  A passenger in the car involved died later at an area hospital.

The Champaign County Coroner's Office identified the victims as 62-year-old Scott Meuser of Paxton, the driver of the pickup, and 65-year-old Joyce Surratt of Ludlow.  The car's passenger, 30-year-old Kelsey Greider of Ludlow, died at the hosptal.  Autopsies were scheduled.
