Church leaders, mayors, county officials are joining together tomorrow (Thursday) for the 2021 National Day of Prayer. Citizens are invited to find some time to fast and pray to observe the nationwide event. Several communities will hold an outdoor prayer service. Citizens are encouraged to attend.
In Watseka -- Iroquois Memorial Hospital is hosting a prayer event at 8 am Thursday. The community is invited to gather at the IMH Flagpole at the corner of 4th Street and E. Fairman Avenue. Several church leaders will participate. Watseka American Legion Post 23 will raise the flag to start the brief ceremony.
