Vermilion County Sheriff’s Deputies and Illinois State Troopers are on the scene of a serious crash along Illinois Route 1. The route will remain closed during the investigation. Traffic was being detoured around the crash site as of 9 am today (Friday).

No details have been available. Bismarck Fire and Ambulance personnel were on the scene.
