Poor road conditions are still a problem in parts of central-Illinois and Indiana. Snow plow operators have had to deal with blowing & drifting snow overnight. Jack-knifed semis forced road closures. Motorists are still advised to avoid non-emergency travel.

Snowfall amounts vary in several counties. EMA offices have reported amounts ranging from just over eight inches to 16 inches. 

Motorists should use caution and seek an alternate route if traveling in areas where accidents are under investigation..
