Kankakee Fire Department answered a call to a trailer fire this (Wed) morning in the 1900 block of Schuyler Avenue. There was no injury in the fire that heavily damaged the house-trailer at 6 am. One person living in the home is being helped by the American Red Cross. There is no damage estimate, and the cause remains under investigation.
