The National Weather Service is alerting motorists about the possibility of ‘snow squalls.’ Sudden intense snow squalls are likely across parts of Illinois and Indiana. That could lead to visibility problems which could increase chances for multi-vehicle, chain-reaction crashes.

Motorists should be alert for changing road conditions today and tonight. Wind gusts could reach 35-40 mph.
