Travel caution: NWS advises of freezing rain

Motorists are advised to use caution during their commute this (Wed) morning due to patchy freezing drizzle. The National Weather Service wants drivers to be aware of changing conditions, especially on bridge decks and overpasses.

Secondary roads are also slick.

The NWS says mild weather conditions are likely as the week progresses.

Cloudy conditions will give way to sunshine on Thursday and through the weekend, but temperatures will rise slowly.
Meteorologists say we may reach close to 40 degrees on Thursday and possibly even near 50 degrees by Sunday afternoon.

There is a chance of rain or possibly even snow on Sunday and Monday.

Forecasters don’t see any significant winter storm patterns approaching.
