The 56-year-old Eshleman has been a principal at Watseka High School. He’s a lifelong area school educator and administrator. His career in education includes positions in Ford, Iroquois and Kankakee counties…. (Principal at PBL High School, Clara Petersn Elementary school in Paxton, Manteno Middle School and Manteno High School, and in the Iroquois Special Ed Association).
Eshleman is best known – perhaps – as a dedicated college and high school basketball official AND as a veteran player/coach for the Buckley Dutchmasters semi-pro baseball team.
The Iroquois West school board approved Eshleman’s hiring unanimously this week
