A text alert Tuesday sounded the alarm in the Tri-Point school district. School was canceled. The text message referred to an explosive device that proved to be unfounded. Classes resumed today (Wed) at Kempton, Piper City and Cullom after buildings were searched. A student received the text threat, prompting officials and law enforcement to clear the buildings. Ford and Livingston County sheriff personnel said the threat was not credible. Anyone with info about the threat is asked to contact authorities.
