Truck driver in rollover had nearly twice the legal blood alcohol content

The Illinois truck driver involved in a rollover accident along I-65 is in the Jasper County, Indiana jail. State Police say his rig hit a guardrail in a construction zone then spilled its load near Demotte.

The crash tied up traffic on Interstate 65 for hours.
Investigators say 51-year-old Oleh Halatyma was in the southbound lanes near Demotte Monday morning when his semi sideswiped a guardrail and rolled into a ditch.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

Police say Halatyma agreed to a chemical test, which returned a .15 percent blood alcohol content. He was taken into custody on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated, disregarding a traffic control device and unsafe lane movement.

The truck was carrying powdered milk and a forklift.
