SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade has been cancelled because of inclement weather.

The weather forecast is calling for a heavy storm cell that potentially could cause flash flooding to pass through Springfield during the time of the parade.

The fairgrounds, however, will be open this evening. Today is Preview Day. Admission is free. Fairgoers are invited to come out after the storms move through the area.
