Illinois State police are investigating a Sunday morning car crash that killed a veteran Bourbonnais firefighter. 31-year-old Jessica Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene of what police report as a two-car crash on Kankakee County Road 4000E Road at 2714N.

The Bourbonnais woman was northbound when she rear-ended another vehicle.

Police reported the other driver was not seriously injured.

Cambell's car rolled several times. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner said there were no physical indications that alcohol was involved.
