Two cats die in White County, IN house fire

A mail carrier alerted emergency personnel about a house fire that killed two cats Wednesday in White County, Indiana. Two cats were killed and the fire damaged part of the home.

The Wolcott, Indiana Fire Department responded to the fire after receiving the call just after 12 noon. Firefighters were unsure how the fire started, but do know it started near the kitchen area.


No one was injured during the fire. The owners of the home were not at home when the fire started.
