The Lake County, Indiana Coroner’s Office has identified two people found dead in their Lowell, Indiana home Tuesday morning. The case is being looked at as a possible murder-suicide.

James and Patricia Carlin were pronounced dead at 8:40 am. Both are 61-years-old. Both died from a gunshot wound. Further investigation continues.

The Coroner’s office is asking for help in locating family members. Anyone with information about these individuals is asked to call the Lake County coroner’s office at (219) 755-3265.

Lowell Police Chief Erik Matson said there is no threat to public safety.
